North Carolina: 2011 State Damage Prevention Program

Main Objective

This project will:

1. Develop and implement methods for effective communication
2. Support a Damage Prevention Education Program for industry stakeholders

Public Abstract

ELEMENT 1 - EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS: Will develop the "North Carolina 811" magazine promoting safe digging and damage prevention activities North Carolina.
ELEMENT 2 - COMPREHENSIVE STAKEHOLDER SUPPORT: In order to facilitate and partner with various stakeholder groups in North Carolina, North Carolina 811, Inc. will expand on the 2010 enhanced program and partnership in 2011.
ELEMENT 4 - EFFECTIVE EMPLOYEE TRAINING: Will expand and hold six Locator training sessions in 2011.
